The Opus XXIX Patrons' Party promises to be an experience like no other - an evening in the spectacular Gardens of Chateau Saint-Cloud.
George and Linda Gleason's eight year journey to create Chateau Saint-Cloud and its extensive grounds has culminated in an authentic French
masterpiece that will be a national treasure for generations to come. As Opus Patrons, you will be among the first to experience the opulence
of the Chateau's gardens.
Patrons will get a first taste of the grandeur as they pass through the Entry Garden upon arrival. Guests will be transported to the Chateau
through the Carriage House Garden, past la Fontaine de l'amour, through the North Garden, and arrive just below the Grand Terrace. Refreshments
will await at almost every turn. You could happily spend the evening enjoying the panoramic views from the Grand Terrace, but you would miss so much.
Tour the East Garden with its Fountain Overlook, koi pond (please do not feed the fish), and its gazebo reminiscent of Northern France. Stroll through
the West Garden with its hand-carved, classic Italian gazebo. Be sure not to miss la Chapelle de Saint-Cloud and its Chapel Gardens - a uniquely spiritual
place. Adventurous patrons wanting to experience a bit more of the 206-acre property may trek outside the massive fortress-like rock walls of Place de
Saint-Cloud and walk the scripture trail, a half mile stone-paved path winding through the woods and steep terrain around the perimeter of Place de
Saint-Cloud. Our athletically inclined may even test their skills on the pétanque court, for which instructions will be available for this game.
After you have toured the grounds, a fabulous seated dinner awaits in the cavernous garage under Chateau Saint-Cloud. Not your ordinary garage,
this space can accommodate, with room to spare, a formal sit-down dinner for 152 lucky souls! This "dining room" will be spectacular, and our gourmet
dinner with fine wines will perfectly complete this Chateau Saint-Cloud experience.
Make this your odyssey. Join us for the Patrons' Party, October 24, 2013. Attendance is limited to 152, so do not delay.
